During the whole year there are fun activities at Royal Delft. Every year in November the Delft Blue Days are organised and you can enjoy different high teas throughout the year. But these are just some of the fun things to do! Carry on reading to learn what activities will be at Royal Delft in the next couple of months. 


During the summer holidays

Open workshops

New this summer!

Experience the craftmanship of the master painters during a Royal Delft painting workshop. This summer you can join the open Delft Blue workshops any day Monday through to Friday without a reservation. You can choose a tile, plate or various shapes of vases to paint. Join any time between 13:00 and 15:00, prices are from €27,50 p.p. Make sure to be on time as there is just room for 25 participants!

Open Monument Day

More than just Delft Blue!

The city of Delft is full of monuments. On 15 September many of these, including Royal Delft, are opened up to the public. There are special guided tours 10:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 o’clock about the exhibition Glorious Delft Blue. There are 30 spots in each tour and you cannot make a reservation for it. The Dutch spoken tours are on a first come, first served basis. The entrance is free of charge, if you would like to take part in the guided tour this is €2,50 p.p. and a regular audio tour is just €1,00 p.p.

Glorious Delft Blue

Grandeur from the Golden Age

Temporary exhibtion

Impressive portraits, captivating still life paintings and glamorous showpieces, the Dutch Golden Age was a period like no other. In the special exhibition ‘Glorious Delft Blue’ Royal Delft presents Delft Blue glory from this period. In various themes the relationship is portrayed between the Golden Age and contemporary showpieces and trends. Each month extra activities will be organised related to each theme. More information. Delft Blue Days

The annual open days are back!

As is now tradition, Royal Delft opens her doors for the annual Delft Blue Days on 16 and 17 November. During the whole weekend you can do special painting workshops at a reduced price and the entrance is free. We will announce the complete programme after the summer.
