Royal Delft Experience
Royal Delft is the last remaining earthenware factory from the 17th century. Here the renowned Delft Blue is still entirely hand painted according to centuries-old tradition. At the Royal Delft Experience you will discover the complete history and production process of Royal Delftware. Here, you can feel our painters’ passion during a painting demonstration, admire our Delftware museum collection and wander through the factory where craftsmen are busy producing the products.

There is free parking at the sides and back of our building. It is prohibited to park you car at the front of the building in the busparking.

Electric charging points
We have 6 charging points for E-bikes. For cars there are 2 public charging points for electric cars at 500 m. from Royal Delft. Address: Julianalaan 138, 2628 BL Delft.
Audio and guided tours
Audio tours, included in entrance fee, are available in Dutch, English, German, French, Japanese, Spanish, Italian and Chinese. Guided tours are available daily in various languages. Please note that a reservation is required for the guided tours. For more information on the tours please contact

Tour elements
The tour guides the visitor past a painting demonstration through to the dining room of Johannes Vermeer. Vermeer, the famous painter from Delft, is a Royal Delft time companion as he was born and worked in the 17th century. The next room you enter is our Royal Chamber where you can admire our collection of Orange Ceramics specially produced for the Dutch Royal family. In the Delftware museum, our collection of antique and modern pieces of Delft Blue earthenware can be admired and in our factory, the authentic production process can be witnessed.
